How to make a Large Classic Tumbler

Materials you will need:

Large Classic Tumbler 

1x LCS 75 

1x Wick Stickum 

185g of Wax

16g of Fragrance 

1x Wick Centring Device 

Step By Step Process:

  • Clean your jar Wipe the inside of the glass to remove any dust or fingerprints.

  • Stick the wick Attach a wick sticker to the base of the wick and press it into the centre of the jar.

  • Add the centring tool Place the centring tool over the jar and pull the wick upright so it’s nice and straight.

  • Melt the wax Heat this by a melter or the microwave until the wax is fully melted.
  • Measure your wax Use a digital scale and weigh out 184g of wax in a pouring jug. Remember to tare the scale first.

  • Check the temperature The wax should be around 65°C before adding fragrance oil.

  • Add fragrance oil Weigh 16g of fragrance oil (wear gloves!) and stir into the wax for 2–3 minutes.

  • Check pouring temperature Make sure wax is between 55–60°C before pouring.

  • Pour into the jar Slowly pour the wax into your jar, leaving about 1cm at the top.

  • Let it set Leave the candle to cool undisturbed for 24 hours at room temperature.

  • Trim the wick Once set, remove the centring tool and trim the wick to about 5mm.

  • Optional finishing touch Use a heat gun if needed to smooth the surface. Add ribbon or labels if gifting.
