Autumn Interiors - What’s Trending for 2023?

The headline for 2023 interiors has been RETRO! So, for Autumn this year, we’re embracing all things 70s. This means bold, playful patterns, funky statement glassware, earthy colours and, above all, a focus on creating warm, cosy spaces that are unique to the individual.

Make a Statement

Quirky, fun tablescapes are going to be all the rage this Autumn. It’s all about making a statement with playful geometric patterns and colourful unique shapes, injecting personality into every space and surface.

Our Large Citrus Vogue is a perfect example of this; bright, funky and totally on trend with this year’s autumn colour palette (more about this later). Pair coloured glassware with other textured pieces that are more muted colours, like these Matte Black Hershey Kiss Jars or our Charcoal GEO to really compliment and draw attention to the star of the show. Incorporating these fun colours and textures into your Autumn collection will allow your customers to curate their own joyful, unique and trendy mix of candles to take them through the season.

Oh, Honey

The key colour that everyone’s going to be adding to their basket this season is honey. The usual raft of earthy tones will, of course, still be featuring heavily in homes, but in Autumn 2023 we’re expecting to see these beautiful, rich honey tones really take centre stage in interiors everywhere.

Look no further than our OMG Jar in Yellow for inspiration here, because it really is a showstopper, and we’re expecting it to be incredibly popular this Autumn. Another great option is our Wood Grain Small Vogue, which is a slightly more subtle honey alternative, but still boasts that all-important texture that’s bang on trend.

The Blues

Honey isn’t the only colour that will be coming to the forefront this Autumn, pops of blue are also going to be increasingly popular to offset and soften earthy palettes while still mirroring the natural world. This is a colour that’s jumped straight from the fashion runway and into homes, whether it’s a hyper-trendy cobalt blue or a toned-down navy, anything blue is basically in. Not only is it an easy way to add a colour-pop to an earthy palette, but it’s also a gorgeously tranquil colour that will help convert any space into a calm, soothing oasis.

For diffusers, consider opting for an indulgent deep blue, complete with that all-important statement texture, with our Navy GEO Bottle. While for candles you could go lighter and brighter with our Bright Blue GEO and Large Pearl Blue Vogue.

Fragrances to Fall For

One of the key interior design trends for Autumn 2023 is making cosy, inviting spaces, and a big part of this is fragrance. Warming, welcoming scents are going to be in high demand this season, so make sure you’re stocked up! You can shop our autumn favourites here, but we’re predicting certain fragrances will be especially hot this year.

Roasted Chestnuts and Embers - This sumptuous scent is top of the scoreboard when it comes to cosiness. With a rich ambience of roasting chestnuts, glowing embers and smouldering incense, it’s a fragrance which simply demands that you curl up by the fire and get comfy with your favourite book.

Marshland Moss and Green Leaves - We can’t get enough of this one for Autumn this year - it conjures images of crisp countryside walks with a rich, earthy accord and notes of green leaves, violet and moss, and a base of cedar and sandal. Perfect for bringing the outside in when it’s too chilly to venture out.

Pumpkin Spice - When is pumpkin spice not trending? This is the ultimate fragrance for a cosy night in; sweet, spicy and fruity. This scent pairs beautifully with a funky statement jar to create a sell-out trending Autumn candle.
