How to make a Large Urban Candle

Materials You Will Need:

• Large Urban Vessel (colour of your choice)

• 369g of a wax of your choice 

• 41g of fragrance oil of your choice 

• 1x wick (LCS 85) 

• 1x Wick Stickum

• Stiff Wick Holder 

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Prepare the Wick

   • Take your wick and attach it to the centre bottom of the vessel using a wick stickum.

   • Press it down lightly with two fingers to secure it in place.

2. Melt and Mix the Wax

   • Heat your wax to 63°C, we use S100

   • Once melted, add your fragrance oil and stir thoroughly for about a minute to ensure even distribution.

3. Pour the Wax

   • Slowly pour the wax into your vessel. Pouring at a steady, slow pace helps prevent sinkholes or air bubbles from forming.

4. Secure the Wick

   • Place the stiff wick holder over the wick to keep it upright and centred. This ensures a smooth and even burn once the candle is set.

5. Allow the Candle to Set

   • Let the candle sit undisturbed for 24 hours to allow the wax to solidify properly.

6. Trim the Wick & Enjoy

   • After 24 hours, trim the wick to the desired length and heat gun if needed.
