I have had a lovely chat with Felecia Maye Davies who created Felecia Maye Home Fragrance. Felecia’s inspiration was the love and obsession for home fragrance and when she found a book about blending fragrances and making candles and wax melts. This was Felecia's starting point of her candle making journey. Felecia has always been creative and enjoyed the ‘making’ aspect and getting the satisfaction of seeing that finalised product. Felecia realised that she could use good quality ingredients to make a beautiful smelling wax melt and candle without the ‘high’ value candles out there, as well as knowing what has gone in to them.

So, after what started as a hobby, along with a love for being creative, Felecia decided to turn her passion for fragrance in to a business and Felecia Maye Home Fragrance was born.

Felecia Maye Home Fragrance brand name was an easy one for Felecia. When Felecia was growing up, she never liked her full name because she could never find a pencil or water bottle with her name on it in the shops (I am sure many people can resonate with that?!). Felecia Maye always seemed a bit of a mouthful to her. As Felecia got older and learnt about her name, she has found that it holds special meaning, as it was Felecia's Great Grandma’s name, so it was an easy choice for her to keep her brand name as a personal one.

Felecia wanted her logo to be simple but reflect the luxury in her products, so the wreath around her logo is made up of willow tree leaves which holds a special part in her heart. Felecia grew up in South Africa and had so many willow trees in her garden and when Felecia and her husband got engaged, they bought their forever home and it has a willow tree in the back garden, so Felecia knew she had to include this in to her business design.

Felecia Maye Home Fragrance offers a variety of luxury wax melts, well thought out collections and gift sets and wax melt burners. The gift boxes and collections are Felecia Maye Home Fragrances’ best sellers as the gift boxes offer fantastic value for money with high quality fragrance accompanied with great packaging and attention to detail.

Felecia is currently in the process of refining her fragrance lists. Felecia has always been concerned about what goes in to fragrances, so when it comes to choosing scents, Felecia now looks out for scents that are Phthalate free, no nasty toxins and is cruelty free. Felecia believes that good quality clean scents can be luxurious and without the hefty price tag. Felecia is a huge fan of clean spa-like rich scents that carry a lot of depth. 

                                

Felecia Maye Home Fragrance target market is customers who are looking and wanting high value and great quality home fragrance. Felecia’s perfect customer is somebody that can appreciate the little details and the quality in each product.

• The fragrance industry is a huge market, and you will always have your tribe supporting you
• Always trust the process and be YOU always!
