A27 Performance Soy Wax is the ideal choice for making wax melts. This soy blend wax includes a small amount of highly refined paraffin wax, similar to the premium paraffin wax found in cosmetics. It takes color well, has minimal frosting, and offers one of the best hot throws for wax melts on the market today. Its high melting point ensures that it can withstand the heat from tealight flames and glass or ceramic wax melt burners, dispersing fragrance oil evenly and slowly.
From an average wax cube (13-16 grams), you can expect 6-8 hours of optimal scent throw for your customers. This wax easily detaches from molds and clamshells, featuring a high-shine finish that makes it attractive for retail. It has a non-greasy touch, making it easy for customers to handle and place in burners without worrying about marking surfaces or needing to wash their hands.
A27 Performance Soy Wax is purpose-made for wax melts, including those with colors and botanicals. It is also the preferred wax for creating candle container refills. Discovered by our founder Alex, this wax is now used worldwide to reduce glass waste and create candle refills, allowing customers to top up their favorite containers.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Liquefaction Point : Peak melting temperature 53°C
Congealing Point: Congealing temperature 45°C
Suggested Heating Range: Range of heating 80°C - 92°C*
Suggested Pouring Range: Generally between 62°C - 72°C
Suggested Max Fragrance Load: 6-10%^ - this depends on the potency of the fragrance so testing is required.
Contents: Made up primarily of natural soy bean and blended with smaller portions sustainably sourced, certified palm wax, premium grade paraffin wax and a unique plant based additive.

^ Value dependant on the quality and potency of the fragrance so testing is required for optimum results. This will also vary on type of oil used, i.e. fragrance oil or essential oil, etc. Please note, the standard fragrance load for Scents by LLCS Fragrance Oils are commonly 6-8% but variations will be dependant on the potency of the oil.
If you are having difficulties achieving desired results, we recommend testing with different fragrance oils at different temperatures.
